Delorean Industries engine compartment ground strap kit. Includes both DPI SPEC lower engine mount ground straps, frame to bulk head connector strap, resistor bracket to intake manifold.
The ground straps are installed in factory locations and updated to modern materials. The kit includes a secondary engine mount ground strap that mirrors the factory passenger side frame to engine mount braided strap. The larger of the two lugs installs on the stud for the engine mount, with the smaller end wrapping up to and terminating at the top M8 bolt on the engine mount. The longest strap in the kit runs from the bulk head connector location next to the ignition coil and down to the passenger frame rail. It is imperative to make sure the frame connection point is clean. The final small strap, runs from the ballast resistor ignition bracket point to the drivers side intake runner.
