WARRANTY/RETURN/CORE/ SHIPPING/ DAMAGED CARRIER POLICIES
DeLorean Industries primarily uses USPS, FED EX and UPS for shipping parcels. We do not offer freight services on large items and leave logistics as the sole responsibility of clients. This extends to vehicle transportation as well. We do offer crate and packaging services allowing our items to be shipping domestically and world wide with the shipping provider of your choice.
Immediately verify the contents of your packages against the supplied invoice. If the order is shipped in multiple packages, a separate invoice with highlight contents is supplied in each box for verification. If any are missing, check to see if there is a credit line due to being out of stock or back ordered/made to order. Back ordered/made to order components that are shipped separately are clearly expressed at time of purchase.
TERMS OF SALE
Due to the high level of customization of our products, most everything we produce is to order. We do not offer returns due to the considerable amount of time and effort that goes into producing and marketing these bespoke offerings. We ask that you are absolutely sure that you need and understand the use of the product at time of purchase. All sales are final unless the part is defective and or sent in error. At our discretion, all returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee. Freight and shipping costs are non refundable unless you were provided with the wrong component. For return consideration a fully defined RMA form available direction from DeLorean Industries is required.
No returns are accepted after 30 days of receiving order.
The minimum return amount is $10.00.
Labor, return shipping or damages associated with incorrectly installing a part is not covered by any warranty expressed or implied.
All parts, warranty claims and cores shipped without the proper RMA form will be subject to processing at our discretion.
All returns must be received within 30 days of confirmed delivery date for consideration.
Claims relating to damaged or lost shipments must be submitted (A) within 5 days of receiving order or (B) as soon as the package is deemed lost by the carrier. DeLorean Industries handles all claims directly for packages sent from our facility. This does not cover owners who choose to use their own shipping methods including but not limited to private carriers, LTL freight options and international forwarders. There will be no reimbursement from Delorean Industries until the carrier pays the claim.
LTL Freight shipments require the inspection of the order contents before signing off to the delivery driver. Damage must be listed clearly on the BOL (bill of lading) for the processing of any claims.
All components must be returned in saleable condition in original packaging.
Electrical components are not accepted as returns unless defective and covered as noted in our warranty policies.
All return shipping is at customers expense.
Any and all replacement shipments will be charged to customer until returned/warranty or defective items are received and processed prior to a credit being issued.
Unless stated in product description other wise, all components sold by DeLorean Industries are covered for 90 days from date of purchase. Note worthy exclusions include our SPEC I exhaust system. Prorated warranties are available in some circumstances as well where noted.
Immediate replacements are available prior to a claim being processed at the customers expense. We do not ship replacements without first receiving warranty or defective component for testing and verification.
Installation of any of our premium offerings by DMCH or their affiliated franchises immediately voids any warranty expressed or implied. Servicing in any manner of a car built by DeLorean Industries by the above mentioned immediately voids any power train warranty extended to our custom-built applications.
Core deposits are designed to keep key no longer available components in circulation to assist as many customers as possible. The charge associated with this is to encourage owners to quickly send back the core. In many cases we have moved to a direct repair and return of your existing component. This is the case for fuel distributors, warm up regulators and brake calipers.
Cores must be properly marked original and serviceable factory components. Aftermarket replacements are not accepted. Visual verification by DeLorean Industries is highly recommended prior to shipping due to the number of aftermarket steering racks and calipers in circulation.
All cores must be shipped to full value via carrier of choice.
Cores that do not meet the above criteria will be returned to customers at their expense when requested.
