The DeLorean is equipped with non-vented front and rear disc rotors. For non-performance applications, the system is adequate for most driving conditions. A lesser-known item often required during brake service is the hub spacer. This fits over the spindle and properly aligns the hub-rotating assembly to the caliper center line. DeLorean Industries manufactures this component in stainless.
On the rear brake system, a mild steel hat shim is used for rear wheel spacing. A premium stainless version and set screw are produced by DeLorean Industries.
