Delorean Industries' longstanding innovative edge across multiple companies and brands is due entirely to the efforts of “Methodical Advanced Development Programs”. Vertical integration streamlined processes across multiple companies and enabled rapid in-house testing, prototyping, market feasibility studies, and product implementation. The requirement to no longer rely on outside sources or timelines set by others led to a development effort led by its own dedicated engineering team. At first, this was overseen in conjunction with ongoing restoration and manufacturing efforts, but quickly became an issue as this hindered the creativity and unique process control required to succeed. A total disruptive innovation “Skunk Works” mentality was embraced, and the decision was made to remove the aspect of being controlled, giving the team total autonomy from the core companies’ direct input in their separate dedicated facility. The formal result was the creation of Methodical Advanced Development Programs (Method Dynamics, for short), a total design, engineering, and manufacturing process solution provider, independent and free to pursue any direction deemed worthy of exploration. Today, while still holding to its original roles supporting the DeLorean market, Method Dynamics has grown into an ever-diversifying spectrum of clients and fields, far surpassing its original production and manufacturing doctrine.
