Roof Box Assembly Kit
Just purchased this item, after opening box I was impressed with the quality of this kit. Considering that DMC wants $1495.00 for a mild steel roof box with NO hinges, covers, shims, bolts this kit is underpriced. As a machist/toolmaker the hinges alone are worth $1500.00 as a set because of their low volume manufacture. Stainless steel is very difficult to manufacture even with computerized machines and wears tooling out quickly. With shims, fasteners (some special made) and pivot balls for lifters, this kit is way undervalued as are a lot of their other parts. People may hate me for this but it is the truth. Plus they will last for several lifetimes. Finally these parts make the car what Delorean originally wanted his car to be.
