Perfect fit, great dress-up part
My 40 year old header brackets were in need of refinishing, but I liked the look of stainless instead to match the stainless header bottle. They don't have the wave in them that the OEM brackets have but they match my tank better. I have a thermostat bleed kit installed going to a tee on the heater bleed-off so I added some vacuum hose split in half and glued with weatherstripping adhesive to the top edges of the rear bracket just to make extra sure it won't cut into my bleed hose. I replaced all the hardware for the brackets, too, for a completely new look.
