A common complaint with reproductions previously and currently on the market is the lack of fitment for the brake hex on the front flexible line. This innovative updated version allows for the installer to hold the flexible brake line hex while tightening the fitting. Preventing brake and line damage.
The bracket configuration was the factory solution for later cars to provide support for the lower speedometer cable. Proper installation requires the flexible brake line to be removed to install this part. If factory lines or non DOT aftermarket units are currently installed, we highly recommend installing our DOT certified stainless braided kit.
