A clean example with extensive service and updates (not a car produced by DeLorean Industries from scratch) starts in the $98,000 range. (Current as of March 2026)
How much does a car from DeLorean Industries cost?
Depending on our clients unique tastes and choices for the final product produced, this number varies extensively. While owners are free to sell examples produced by DeLorean Industries privately, we always encourage allowing our assistance as we maintain a listing of clients waiting for a used example to become available.
Will you sell my car on consignment?
We do not currently provide services to consign clients cars unless previously manufactured by us through our complete build program. This does not include cars only serviced.
Do you purchase DeLoreans outright?
We consider every DeLorean on the market as a potential candidate for our reimagined build commissions.
Does DeLorean Industries have investors or partners?
No, DeLorean Industries, component manufacturing, and engineering companies are solely owned by Joshua Bengston.
Where do your parts come from?
DeLorean Industries is unique in that we have our branded products manufactured /or sourced through long-standing relationships with leading suppliers in the automotive industry. All of our products are proudly produced in the United States to uphold the highest quality possible. We are also directly supplied on NOS components and a wide spectrum of reproduction parts through a distribution agreement with Classic DMC.
Can I have a SPEC Stainless Frame installed by a repair shop?
No, due to the complexity of a proper engineered chassis with many updates from stock, great care must be taken to implement this innovative product properly. DeLorean Industries offers Advanced Restoration Training “ART” to certify installers on this process.
Are NOS parts readily available?
Over the years we have been afforded the opportunity to purchase many large NOS (new old stock) stockpiles. For owners requiring factory original stamped sheet metal and other components not yet produced by DeLorean Industries. We currently hold over 1 million NOS components in stock at our annex facility. A state of the art purpose built climate controlled 50,000 sq ft warehouse used solely for vehicle and parts storage. We are also directly supplied on NOS components and a wide spectrum of reproduction parts through a distribution agreement with Classic DMC. We have you covered!
Who builds DeLoreans?
Currently DeLorean Industries is the only company in the world that builds reimagined DeLorean's from virtually all new components. We implement thousands of proprietary engineered components manufactured in the United States along with a currently road legal factory GRP body tub and factory VIN (vehicle identification number) issued from 1981-83. The end result is the most highly refined and innovated examples available.
Will you install parts I supply from overseas?
No, unfortunately products available from others in the community are manufactured/sourced with the intent of creating the biggest profit margin possible. This of course comes at the cost of quality and safety. In many cases they even advertise fitment issues in their own product descriptions. Our policy is to strictly stay away from the use of such sub standard components. We notify owners upon inspection of all vehicles of parts we find from these sources. Making owners aware of safety concerns associated with these components is our number one priority.
My car currently doesn't drive. Will you pick it up?
Yes, we offer an exclusive in house door to door service per request. In addition, our long standing relationships with leading transporters in the industry offer further options for owners as well.
Do you offer remote service options?
No, We currently only provide services at our facilities in Akron Ohio. While previously early on this was an option.
Will you appraise my car?
DeLorean Industries only provides appraisals on vehicles serviced at our facilities. This is offered standard after every visit due to the cars value increasing after implementing our premium offerings.
